What We Know About Wild Force and Cyber Judge So Far

Cyber Judge Wild Force Pokemon TCG Set Packs Promo Cover

It’s already set to be an incredible year for Pokémon fans next year. There are heaps of incredible releases on the horizon – with the anxiously awaited Paldean Fates just around the corner – and a recent announcement has got the community hyped up.

Back when we put together our article about the upcoming releases and rumors for the 2024 Pokémon release calendar, we predicted that the rumored Japanese sets Cyber Judge and Wild Force would be dropping in January but we didn’t quite know when. Thankfully, it’s been confirmed officially and the sets are on the way.

Here’s everything we know about the Wild Force and Cyber Judge Pokémon TCG sets so far, including when they’ll be available for purchase and what other exciting products will be coming out at the same time.

The Sets Come Out In January

First things first, Cyber Judge and Wild Force are set to come out on the 26th of January next year.

This is the exact same date as Paldean Fates. If you’ve not heard about Paldean Fates yet, it’s the English language follow-up for the Japanese High Class set Shiny Treasure ex which just came out. It’s set to be a big set for collectors.

It’s important to note that Wild Force and Cyber Judge are Japanese sets. If you’re not based in Japan, you’ll need to find a reliable online retailer who can sort out the process of getting the cards shipped to you safely.

At the time of writing, retailers do not appear to have pre-orders open yet. Make sure to check your favorite stores and websites regularly if you’re keen, as it’s likely that pre-orders will start opening up for these dual sets very shortly.

The Sets Will Be Re-Introducing ACE SPEC Cards

Originally announced during the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, ACE SPEC cards are set to be rejoining the world of Pokémon next year. When we initially reported on this, it was unclear when this would be happening- but now we know.

ACE SPEC cards will be reappearing in the trading card game with the arrival of Cyber Judge and Wild Force.

This is sure to shake up the competitive scene. If you’re unfamiliar with ACE SPEC cards, they’re extremely powerful Trainer cards which initially came into the game with the Pokémon Black & White – Boundaries Crossed expansion. They came out of circulation with the Plasma Blast set in 2013.

When playing in an official setting, you can only have one ACE SPEC card in your deck at a time. They have the power to really turn the tide of battle, so it’s incredibly exciting to see them coming back.

Exciting Merch Will Be Coming Out Too

January is going to be incredibly busy for Pokémon fans.

Alongside the Wild Force and Cyber Judge set (and the rumoured Starter Deck/Build Sets) we can expect to see plenty of interesting merch dropping on the same day. Firstly, a brand new product type will be released called the Pokémon Card Game – Deck Sleeve Collection Ancient/Future.

This is a type of product that we’ve never seen before from The Pokémon Company. When you purchase one of these Deck Sleeve Collections, you will randomly get one of ten possible Deck Sleeve designs.

The full list of products is not available yet, but according to PokéGuardian, the designs should include Scream Tail, Iron Bundle, Walking Wake, and Iron Leaves. A box of random Deck Sleeves will include 10 packs of Deck Sleeves, so it’s a product that offers lots of value for money.

It’s not just the Deck Sleeve Collections that are releasing, though. Fan-favorite character Bianca (one of the rivals from Pokémon Black & White) will be getting her own merch drop as well.

Currently, there is no full product list or official product photo set to share, but we do know that Deck Boxes, Playmats, and Deck Sleeves will be available. It’ll be exciting to see what these items look like and how the community responds to them, as she’s a pretty popular character.

More merchandise for Paldean Fates is sure to be coming out alongside these releases, too. 2024 is going to be a wonderful year for Pokémon TCG collectors and competitive players who want to level up their card protection.

An English Version Should Be Coming Out Soon

As with almost every Pokémon TCG set to date, it appears that an English language version of Wild Force and Cyber Judge will be released later in the year. It’s important to stress that this is speculation on our part based on rumors- nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

The upcoming set should be called Temporal Forces. Based on the name and the timing of the release, it’s likely that we’ll see quite a few of the cards from Wild Force and Cyber Judge in this set.

Once we have more information about this set release, we’ll be sure to keep you all updated so stay tuned. Pokémon is sure to have an exciting release schedule for 2024, so it’s a great time to start checking out your local tournaments and game shop events if possible.
