YuGiOh Tin of the Pharaoh’s Gods 2022 Before you buy Review

It’s hard to buy a YuGiOh tcg product when you don’t even know what’s included in it, or if it’s worth it. I purchased one for myself so you can see exactly what is inside. 

Below are photos of the 2022 Pharaoh’s tin, and everything inside, plus a full review so you can know exactly what you’re getting into. 

What is the 2022 Tin of the Pharaoh’s Gods?

Since 2019, Konami has been releasing a TCG Tin product annually. The 2021 tin was released in October, and this year’s 2022 tin was released on September 16th. We can probably expect the 2023 tin to release in Q4 of 2023. 

But in the meantime, we have the current tin to enjoy. 

You can find this tin at an MSRP of $21.99 USD, which is a pretty good price. The 2021 tin has increased in value since it came out so snagging one of these at MSRP would be smart.

These tins don’t contain random booster packs but actually introduce their own unique set.

What’s Inside the Pharaoh’s Tin?

The new 2022 Tin of the Pharaoh’s Gods contains 3 Mega Packs. These are fat 18 card booster packs containing 1 Prismatic Secret Rare, 2 Ultra Rares, 2 Super Rares, 1 Rare, and 12 Commons from a huge mega-set.

Is the Pharaoh’s Tin Worth it?

Considering that there are a handful of cards in this set that are worth more than the tin itself, yea, it’s probably worth it.

Final Thoughts

This is the fourth tin we’ve received as YuGiOH fans, and I don’t know if I may speak for everyone but, I love them. With three booster packs, each containing a prismatic rare, plus other rares, it’s a heck of a deal. Pulling multiple rare cards from a single pack is very satisfying. 

When we look at the 2019, 2020, and 2021 tins on eBay, prices seem to have increased by quite a lot. With a price of just $21.99, it might be worth it to just purchase two, and keep one sealed.
