You can put these in your binder in whatever order you like. Each year has a Pikachu, so I like to start with Pikachu. That way I know when the next set starts.
There are 10 holo cards
The above image shows all 10 holofoil cards in the set. This year the cosmos holo pattern is used, which is a fan favourite, and includes the borders of the card as well as the illustration background.
Some of the cards in this year’s Trick or Trade are the same as last years, but the holo pattern is different, so they are actually different, in a way.
Each pack contains 3 cards, one holo, and two non-holo.
And 20 Non-Holo Cards
The remaining 20 cards are non-holo and also reprints.
Each card in the set gets the Pikachu-pumpkin stamp, but aside from this, the non-holos are identical to their previous print.
This year’s bundle comes with 35 packs, a step down from the previous year.
Final Thoughts
The Trick or Trade BOOster Bundles are meant to be handed out to kids on Halloween, and we can see this in the products design.
There are no chase cards, no Ultra Rares or Illustration rares, just regular old holos. This is done purposely so collector’s such as myself don’t buy out all the stock. Its a rare move by The Pokémon Company, but I think we can all appreciate that.
If you’re like me and have a strong internal drive to collect the set, then you can complete it easily. I finished the 30-card set after 12 packs, leaving 18 to be handed out on Halloween. Its a win-win.
