This means that the set is being gradually announced and shown off online so that fans can get to grips with the card art styles, the Pokémon that are being featured, and the special cards that are worth looking out for. It’s worth following the account if you aren’t already.

It’s Not a Standard Set Release

There are a few things about this set that you may not see in regular TCG sets.

The cards in the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – 151 Set are actually numbered according to the National Pokédex for Kanto, instead of their energy typing.

Additionally, holofoil Energy cards will be available. This is a lovely nod to older TCG releases, as it uses the galaxy holofoil which hasn’t been seen properly in packs for a while now, and it will add a bit of extra flair to any dedicated fan’s collection.
