New Pokémon TCG Stacking Tins Coming Out In March

New Pokemon Stacking Tins Product Photos Goomy Blurred Background

A number of exciting Pokémon products have just been announced and 2024 is looking like it’ll be a lot of fun so far.

One of the most intriguing is the latest addition to the TCG Stacking Tin series. The Stacking Tins are a wonderful item for both collectors and competitive players, and they’re worth picking up if you can get your hands on them. They have visual appeal, and they often contain brilliant cards as well.

The Stacking Tins aren’t available for pre-order yet, but there’s a lot of information up for grabs already. Here’s everything we know about the Pokémon Stacking Tins coming out next year, including the exact release date and what you can expect to find inside them.

They’re Coming Out In March

This new set of Stacking Tins will be available in most locations on the 1st of March next year. As noted, most retailers won’t have pre-orders available yet but it’s worth keeping an eye out if there’s a particular store you want to purchase from. It’s likely that pre-orders will start to open up in late January or early February.

March is looking like a decently busy year for Pokémon fans – the Stacking Tins are not the only item dropping that month.

In fact, a brand new English language set should be dropping in March. There isn’t much information available about it yet, but the set will likely be called Temporal Forces. It’ll be a follow-up to the Japanese language sets Wild Force and Cyber Judgement, meaning it’ll have plenty of Ancient and Future Pokémon.

Alongside this, there’s discussion in the community about another Japanese language set called Crimson Haze. We don’t know much about this set yet, but the release date should be the 22nd of March and it’ll take inspiration from the new Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

There Are Three Types Up For Grabs

When a new series of Stacking Tins are released, there are generally 2 or 3 different types up for grabs. They correlate to a specific Pokémon type that can be found in the trading card game, and in this release, there will be:

  • A Psychic type
  • A Metal type
  • A Dragon type

The artwork for the tins looks incredible, as shown in our cover photo. The Psychic type predominantly features Gengar and Scream Tail, the Metal type predominantly features Cufant and Meltan, and the Dragon type predominantly features Dragapult and Goomy.

Inside each of the tins, you’ll find two Pokémon sticker sheets along with a Pokémon coin and three Booster Packs as well. It’s not been confirmed which Pokémon will be featured on the sticker sheets yet, but it’s safe to say that they’ll match the type on the tin and likely feature the starring Pokémon as well.

Fans can expect to see this Stacking Tins retailing for around $14.99 USD/£11.80GBP/$19.99CAD when they release, which is a little more than previous releases but still a decent price. They’re quite giftable, too.

Currently, we don’t have a card list available for these Stacking Tins but as soon as one becomes available, we’ll be sure to update you.
