The Pokémon Company is always great at setting up nice promos and pop-up events for the festive season. There’s a particularly exciting promo event coming up shortly that Pokémon TCG fans are going to want to get involved with.

Poké Post is a festive promotional event where fans can get exclusive cards and send them to their friends as a holiday surprise. It’s a lovely concept, but it’s only happening in certain locations and it follows a specific schedule.

We’ve gathered everything you need to know here in order to get your hands on the exclusive cards, along with information on the cards themselves.

Where Is the Poké Post Office?

The Poké Post event is a location-specific event that, at the time of writing, will only be coming to certain locations in the UK, France, and Germany. While this is speculation on our part, it’s likely that events for other locations will be announced shortly.

The location and timing schedule for the 2023 Poké Post event is as follows:

  • Saturday, 18th November. Castle Street in Edinburgh, UK, from 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Wednesday, 22nd November. The Hayes in Cardiff, UK, from 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Saturday, 25th November. Place de La Défense in Paris, France, 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Saturday, 2nd December. Westfield La Part-Dieu in Lyon – Porte de La Lanterne, France, 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Wednesday, 6th December. Pasing Arcaden in Munich, Germany, from 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Saturday, 9th December. Mercedes Platz in Berlin, Germany, from 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Saturday, 16th December. Ruhr Park in Bochum, Germany, from 10am to 7:30pm.
  • Tuesday, 19th December. Queens Walk, Southbank, in London, UK, from 10am to 7:30pm.

The general aim of the event is for fans to send promotional cards to their friends, and there are set locations which the cards can be posted to, as well.

UK fans will be able to send cards to anywhere in the mainland UK or the Isle of Man, excluding Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm. French fans will be able to send cards to anyone in Metropolitan France and German fans will be able to send cards to anyone based in domestic Germany, too.

One of our Sleeve No Card Behind team members is planning to attend one of the events, so make sure to follow our official Instagram page for a card reveal and snaps from the event.

What Cards Can You Get?

There are two different card packs which will be up for grabs – one featuring Eevee and one featuring Pikachu. There are also Paradox Rift packs to go alongside these cards, each one with 3 cards inside. The event organizers will allow fans to take one of the promo cards and  packs for themselves and send the other one to a friend in an eligible location.

These cards are official Pokémon Together promo cards. They will not be available for purchase in any other fashion (unless people resell them, of course) so attending the events is the only way to get your hands on them.

It’s a little hard to make out the card markings exactly from the promotional images displayed on the official Poké Post site, but from what we can see, the cards seem to have a Pokémon Together stamp on them, which could make them valuable collector’s items down the line.

This is looking like it’s going to be an incredibly fun event. There are meant to be appearances from Pikachu and Eeevee mascots, and festive photo set opportunities, too.

Being a fan of a franchise like Pokémon is always exciting during the festive season, and there’s bound to be plenty more seasonal events and drops to look forward to as December creeps even closer. We’ll be sure to keep you posted- remember, you can sign up for our monthly mailing list on our home page to stay in the loop with all things Pokémon.
