Bandai Drops a Secret One Piece Promo at Card Fest

The Bandai Card Fest is live now in L.A. and Bandai just dropped something pretty cool.

Now, this isn’t an official promo card. In fact, Bandai has released an exclusive coupon in the form of a One Piece card. Now, I understand that the title of this article may be misleading since it isn’t an actual promo, but hear me out.

The One Piece Card Gamer is so hot right now that booster boxes of OP-05 are hard to find and as high as $350 each. Since the One Piece cards were released, we’ve seen promos sky-rocket in price.

What’s stopping people from having this coupon graded, and auctioned on eBay? As long as PSA agrees to grade this bad boy, it might as well be an exclusive promo.

Here is a snippet from their Facebook page.

The actual coupon is redeemable for free shipping of one order on the official Bandai site. All you have to do is scan the QR code, so the physical card is yours to keep.

If you’re in L.A. right now, I’d recommend you snag one of these, and if not, scour eBay and pick one up before these become too expensive!

There are two more locations for the Bandai Card Fest, one being in Taipei, and the last one in Japan. You can bet something big will happen for the Japan event! Check out the dates and locations here.

Final Thoughts

It’s sad that there is such a high demand for One Piece cards with such little supply. If you’re lucky enough to visit the Bandai Card Fest in L.A., then you’ll no doubt see the One Piece booths swarmed by people.

I may be wrong about this coupon exploding in price, but I know for sure that it is collectible. Not only does it feature Gear Five Luffy as the artwork, but it’s a cool souvenir of Bandai’s Card Fest.

If PSA will grade this, it could be a very valuable memorabilia piece in 10 years from now, similar to the many pieces of Pokémon coupons and phone cards that now sell for high prices on eBay.
