If you’re a fan of Attack On Titan, we’ve got fantastic news for you.

The legendary post-apocalyptic manga series is the latest franchise to join the line-up in the UniVersus collectible card game. This CCG comes from the team at UVS Games and this particular release is looking incredibly exciting so far.

If you’re unfamiliar with the concept behind the UniVersus CCG, it’s a collectible card game that pits characters from multiple franchises against each other. If you’ve ever wanted to know whether your favorite My Hero Academia character could beat your favorite Cowboy Bebop character in a fight, for example, this is the game for you.

We’ve gathered all the available key information about this Attack On Titan launch here for you- including what to expect from the launch and whether the game will be backwards compatible with older Universal Fighting System cards or not.

When Will Attack On Titan UniVersus Cards Come Out?

Currently, a specific release date has not been announced officially.

Attack On Titan Universus cards are set to come out in most locations in 2024. We’re unsure at the time of writing whether it will be in the first half or the second half of the year, so make sure to keep up to date with UniVersus news via their website or official social media channels.

This is speculation on our part, but it’s very likely that there will be some pre-release events for the Attack On Titan cards. There’s an official pre-release event listed here for the My Hero Academia: Jet Burn cards, so we’re sure to see some other events for the Attack On Titan release, too.

What Will The Release Look Like?

We don’t have access to the card list for this release currently, but we can say with confidence that there will be plenty of Attack On Titan cards for fans to enjoy and build unique decks with. UniVersus releases always offer lots of variety for deckbuilding and collections.

The Sleeve No Card Behind team were given access to an official press release which described the upcoming AoT release as being ‘a welcoming experience for new UniVersus CCG players’ but noted that it’ll still provide plenty of opportunities that’ll challenge and test experienced players.

The artwork for previous UniVersus launches has always been fantastic ( the upcoming MHA cards look wicked too) and there’s always been a decent array of characters for dedicated fans to pick from when buying cards. It’ll be interesting to see which Attack On Titan character cards are the most popular with UniVersus players.

Dedicated UniVersus fans will be pleased to know that this release will be backwards compatible with the older Universal Fighting System card game.

All in all, next year is looking like an exciting time for fans of collectible card games. We’re sure to see even more stories and sneak peeks from UVS Games as we get closer to the release, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Make sure to check out our official Instagram page for card reveals and unboxings, too.
