Entering the end of the year and YuGiOh! Cards being just as popular as ever, it seems impossible that YuGiOh! Card collecting will stop turning a profit. And as both the cards and booster boxes in the YuGiOh! TCG get older and rarer, 2024 is as great an opportunity as ever to invest in some of them.
This list will help you figure out what booster boxes are the best ones to pick up in 2024, with the obvious intent of making a profit on them in a few years
10. Dimension Force Booster Box
Release date: May 20, 2022
YuGiOh! Dimension Force is one of the more recent expansions released by Konami into the world of YuGiOh!. And because of this, the price on this booster box is still relatively cheap, having yet to spike in value.
The booster packs include new pendulums, so this set finally brought new pendulum support as well as Dinomorphia and Exosister archetype support. One of the most sought-after cards in this set is the reprint of Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion.
There are 10 Secret Rares available, including the Ghost Belle Starlight Rare which sells for $200+
Another fan-favorite card from this set is Odd-Eyes Pendulumgraph Dragon, which is crazy powerful. Odd-Eyes can inflict damage each time your opponent special summons, negates Spell Cards, and special summons additional Odd-Eyes monsters.
9. Battles of Legend: Crystal Revenge Booster Box
Release date: November 18, 2022
Released not too long ago in November of 2022, the Crystal Revenge variation of the Battles of Legend booster packs became an instant favorite among fans.
This set boasts multiple Advanced Crystal Beasts to pull, such as Amethyst Cat. Fans love ACB cards as they are known to be some of the most beautiful cards in the TCG.
Crystal Revenge was hard to find on store shelves since it was often bought out by scalpers in some communities. This set definitely has the potential to go up in value, since it was such a hit and contains hits, too.
For example, this set contains the Exodia cards reprinted as Starlight rates. Unfortunately, the pull rates are pretty tough, but having Exodia in the set lends a lot of potential to the set as an investment.
8. Legendary Duelists: Rage of Ra Booster Box
Release date: September 25, 2020
Even though this set is now over three years old, the Rage of Ra booster packs are highly coveted by regular players and collectors alike. The booster set is most often chased down for the Winged Dragon of Ra cards, which are the most powerful monsters in the game.
The Winged Dragon of Ra Ghost Rare is for sure the chase card of this set, and one of the biggest chase cards of 2020.
When a set carries such powerful and sought-after cards, the sealed products will always be in demand. Years from now, people will Google this set, see the Winged Dragon of Ra cards, and go looking to purchase.
But there are other great cards in this set too, such as Egyptian God Slime and Ancient Chant.
7. Ghosts From The Past Display Box
Release date: May 6, 2022
A Ghost Rare is one of the coolest cards any card collector can have. Even if you’re not into Yu-Gi-Oh!, you probably still think Ghost Rares are sick.
Ghosts From The Past: 2nd Haunting contains 9 Ghost Rares. Yes, the pull rates are tough, but you still have a decent chance of pulling one. Here are the 9 Ghost Rares available:
- Blue-Eyes White Dragon
- Red-Eyes Black Dragon
- Dark Magician Girl
- Cyber Dragon
- Dark Armed Dragon
- The Winged Dragon of Ra – Sphere Mode
- Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon
- Red Dragon Archfiend
- The Eye of Timaeus
The two most expensive pulls are Dark Magician Girl and, of course, Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Both sell for about $150 – $170.
The cheapest of the 9 Ghost Rares is The Eye of Timaeus, which costs about $16.
A set like this is always a good investment. This was the set of 2022, and people are still buying packs at a small markup on eBay. I’ve yet to actually pull a Ghost Rare myself, so I can personally attest to the hard pull rates, but I’ll keep trying!
6. 25th Anniversary Legend of Blue-Eyes Booster Box
Release date: April 21, 2023
Can you believe it’s been 25 years?
For the 25th anniversary, Konamiproduced reprinted booster boxes of the original 5 expansions. For the record, we think all of these are probably a good investment, but Legend of Blu-Eyes is obviously the one to get.
The whole set is reprinted, so you have a chance at pulling some amazing hits like Dark Magician, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Exodia, Monster Reborn, and Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
The original set is no longer affordable for most collectors, so this was a fantastic surprise from Konami. We are extremely pleased with this product, especially after the 25th anniversary of another TCG that didn’t produce anything of this caliber. Cough Pokémon Cough…
5. Battle of Chaos Booster Box
Release date: February 11, 2022
Battle of Chaos might not be super rare when it comes to YuGiOh! Booster Boxes and packs, but no collection is truly complete without one of these. This set contains 4 Starlight Rares, one of which is The Dark Magicians.
The Dark Magicians will go down in history as one of the most beautiful Yu-Gi-Oh! cards ever made, and fans know it. In addition to this, we also have Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon as a Starlight Rare, which is absolutely amazing. Kaiba would be stoked!
But overall the most expensive card from this set isn’t The Dark Magicians, but actually Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy. This Starlight Rare is deadly and sells for around $250 in lightly played condition!
The booster box itself can still be found for under $70. The price has been declining steadily since release, which means its probably a good time to invest before prices start to increase.
4. King’s Court Booster Box
Release date: July 9, 2021
Now we have King’s Court, a very fun set from a few years back. The set is full of Utopias, as well as multiple Collector’s Rares. But what really drives the investment opportunity behind this set is the Egyptian God cards.
That’s right, this set has Slifer the Sky Dragon, The Winged Dragon of Ra, and Obelisk the Tormentor, all in Secret Pharaoh’s Rare.
These cards each sell for $150+ and are all amazingly beautiful. But you can also pull the Egyptian gods as Ultra Pharaoh’s Rares as well. And after these, there are still a handful of amazing cards to pull such as Rescue Rabbit, Lightning Storm, and more.
Again, you can grab one of these for under $70 still, which is crazy. It’s crazy that they are still that cheap!
3. Burst of Destiny Booster Box
Release date: November 5, 2021
This set has a lot of similarities to Duelest Alliance, which was deeply loved by fans. Burst of Destiny is among the most, if not the most, important set of 2021. This is because of the many amazing cards for dueling.
One of these cards is Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer. This card isn’t worth much, as you can buy one for about $5, but it is very powerful and many players purchased this booster box just to pull a few copies of it.
Other than that, we have some amazing pulls like the Elemental HERO Stratos as a Starlight Rare and Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous, also as a Starlight Rare. Also, this set brought us some new sushi cards (heck yea!).
A fantastic set that went down in history as a fan favorite, with many claiming that it revolutionized the game that year.
2. Dawn of Majesty Booster Box
Release date: August 13, 2021
Why Dawn of Majesty? Well, you already know the answer. It’s because of the Stardust Dragon. This card goes for $600+ even now, 2 years later. We’ve pretty much hit the point where the card might dip a bit more but is likely to start increasing in price.
Stardust Dragon is one of the most breathtaking cards to ever be made, and that’s why the price is so high. If you don’t agree, then you might like Shooting Majestic Star Dragon, which is also in this set.
The incredible pulls carry this set to the top, making it one of the most speculated sets in recent years. This means that others are also looking to invest in this one.
You can still find this booster box for around $90 on eBay, but it is starting to increase.
1. Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon Booster Box
Release date: March 8, 2002
This booster box needs no introduction. On eBay, a sealed box of Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon is selling for $50,000+.
Is it a good investment? Well, yes it is. The price has already shot through the roof, and we understand that. But this booster box has solidified itself as the biggest, hottest Yu-Gi-Oh! item available.
This set has dozens of iconic cards like Red-Eyes B. Dragon, Monster Reborn, Exodia, Dark Magician, and obviously Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
This is the very first Yu-Gi-Oh! set released in North America and it always will be. Therefore, it will always be in demand from high-end collectors. Every year, someone opens one of these, or they get lost or damaged. When this happens, the price goes up even more.

Final Thoughts
And that wraps it up for the best YuGiOh! Booster Boxes to invest in for 2024. All of these are boxes that will only go up in value, and even if the market crashes, you’ll still have some pretty amazing booster boxes to your name.
